Fire - Mohican Ave., Town of McCandless (5/11/2002)
McCandless Fire Departments were dispatched to a house on Mohican Avenue for
a Working Structure Fire. First arriving units found heavy smoke and flames.
No injuries were reported although several pets weren't able to be saved. Highland
Station 186, Ingomar Station 187, and Peebles Station 188 responded along with
McCandless-Franklin Park EMS. The fire was determined to have been started by
a tractor in the basement.
