Accident - Pine Township (3/26/2002)
Units were dispatched to two separate accidents around 2:30pm. Hampton VFD
and Hampton EMS were dispatched to an accident with entrapment on the PA Turnpike
and Wexford Station 228 with McCandless-Franklin Park EMS were dispatched to
an accident with entrapment on Warrendale Road near Wallace Road. Units arrived
on scene to find it was the same accident - a car driving down the turnpike lost
control and left the roadway landing upside down on Warrendale Road. Patient
was entrapped for approx. 20 minutes and was taken by ambulance to a trauma center.
