Vehicle
Accident - Economy Borough (3/28/2003)
At 9 PM on March 28, 2003, Economy Police, Fire, and EMS units were dispatched
to the front yard of 2311 Ridge Road Extension for a motor vehicle accident with
injuries and one vehicle "inexplicably suspended in air." First
arriving police units arrived on the scene confirming one vehicle into several
park vehicles in the driveway of the caller's residence, and yes, one vehicle
was, indeed, suspended in air.
After bouncing off three parked vehicles in the
driveway of the residence, the car bounced backwards, airborne, and landed on
top of a small light pole that used to light sidewalk of the residence. Amazingly,
the car stayed there.
The vehicle was removed by a tow truck without
incident.
