Structure Fire - Ross Township (6/19/2003)

Berkeley Hills Station 247, Peebles Station 188, Etna Station 149 RIT, Ross/West View EMS with Rescue 40, Ross Fire Police and Ross Fire Marshals were dispatched around 446pm to McIntyre Road for a structure fire. A fire police member was the first to arrive and confirmed a working structure fire. A Ross Fire Marshal arrived second and reported smoke and fire from the second floor. Crews extinguished the blaze and the fire was under control 35 minutes after initial dispatch. Laurel Gardens Station 253 and West View Station 297 assisted. The fire was started by the homeowner soldering pipe in the second floor bathroom.
