Harborcreek Fire Department was dispatched for a vehicle fire near an exposure at 5:42 a.m. Fire Chief Chiappazzi found a Ford Explorer was within 10 feet of an adjacent house with heavy fire in the engine compartment and underneath the vehicle. A quick knock down was made, and the Pennsylvania State Police were called due to the suspicious nature of the fire and prior incidents that have happened at the residence. The Pennsylvania State Police investigated the fire.

Units from Fairfield Fire Department were also on scene they were initially dispatched due to the exposure problems.
