Perry Hi-Way Hose Co. and EmergyCare Paramedics responded to the report of a Pontiac Trans Sport SE van that flipped onto its roof at Downs Drive and upper Peach Street Friday evening.

One woman was trapped in the van but was not seriously injured. The driver of another minivan involved in the crash, said the driver of the Pontiac turned left onto Downs Drive in front of him.

Witnesses told troopers she didn't have the right of way. The crash, which closed two lanes, slowed traffic to a crawl around 7 p.m. The female driver was trapped in the mini van and had to be extricated. She was transported to Saint Vincent Health Center in Erie.
