Structure Fire - City of Pittsburgh (7/15/2004)

City of Pittsburgh Fire Fighters were called to an apartment building in Hazelwood around 1:20pm for a reported structure fire with entrapment. Units arrived to find a working structure fire with several people trapped. Firefighters worked with ladders to rescue several occupants from the third floor. They later found the body of a male in the building under debris from where the ceiling collapsed. Two others were taken to the hospital for burns and smoke inhalation. The fire was brought under control by 2pm. The cause of fire is under investigation. Several animals were also rescued from the flames.
