On the way back to the station from training Peebles Station 188 came across a two vehicle accident halfway up Pine Creek Hill Northbound. They notified Northwest Regional 911 to start McCandless Police, McCandless-Franklin Park EMS, and Ingomar Station 187 since it was their home district. 188 C-2 assumed command and Peebles began the extrication evolution. Upon arrival of EMS two patients were transported to Allegheny General for treatment. Apparently, a vehicle was traveling up Pine Creek Hill  when it became disabled in the roadway. Before the occupants could exit the vehicle, they were struck from behind.
