Starting early Saturday morning, I-79 was the scene of 3 serious motor vehicle crashes. All 3 crashes occurred in the 3-4 mile stretch from the I-79/I-279 split to the Warrendale Exit. Units from Franklin Park ( Sta. 158 ), Ohio Twp                 ( Sta. 220), and  Marshall Twp ( Sta. 185 ) responded to there respective crashes. Photos below are from the 3rd crash which occurred early Saturday afternoon, just north of the split. Rescue personal extricated one patient from the pickup truck, which ran into the back of an 18 wheeler.
