Vehicle Crash - City of Pittsburgh (4/25/2005)

Around 9pm, units were alerted for a motor vehicle crash on the Parkway North inbound under the Milroy Street overpass. Crews arrived to find a one vehicle crash with moderate damage. The vehicle struck the center barrier separating the general purpose lanes from the HOV lanes head on. A mother and her child, who was not properly strapped in, were in the vehicle. The child was in critical condition. Police believe alcohol may have been a factor. Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire, Pittsburgh EMS, Pittsburgh Police, and PA State Police responded.
