Mock Vehicle Crash - Fox Chapel (5/4/2005)

Every year, Fox Chapel High School hosts what they call a "Prom Challenge." The challenge is a mock crash to show seniors the effects of drinking and driving. All units are dispatched as though it was an actual call. Command and mutual aid is run as if it were a real call with the exception that response times are rather quick. EMS Command was handled by Parkview 801 and Fire Command was handled by 219 C-1. 157 Engine 1 set up the landing zone while 219 Rescue handled extrication.

Participating Units: Parkview EMS Medic 181 and Medic 182, Foxwall EMS Medic 141 and Medic 142, Seneca EMS Medic 161, St. Margarets Medic 267, Guyasuta 219 Rescue and 219 Engine 3, Blawnox 111 Engine 1, Fox Chapel 157 Engine 1, Life Flight 4, O'hara Police, Fox Chapel Police, Blawnox Police, and the Allegheny County Coroner.
