Citizens' Hose Station 167, Hilltop Hose Station 168, and Harrison Hills Station 169 were dispatched to the 1100 block of Freeport Road in Natrona Heights for a possible attic fire. Fire police first on scene reported heavy smoke showing from the second floor. Hilltop Hose Truck 33 was the first unit on scene and assumed command. Crews were able to make a fast knock-down to contain the blaze. Pioneer Hose Station 112 assisted along with AK-Pulser Paramedic Response and Harrison Township Police. The Allegheny County Fire Marshall is investigating the cause.
