In the late hours, fire units were dispatched to a residential structure fire with entrapment on Silver Reel Drive. A female was reported to still be inside in a wheelchair. The occupant was rescued by a neighbor and fire personnel. First arriving units found a room and contents fire in the living room which was quckly knocked down. However, the fire had spread through a void into the attic. Responding units included Bauerstown Station 259, Evergreen Station 246, Millvale Station 191, Mt. Troy Station 239 for RIT, Berkeley Hills Station 247, Cherry City Station 260, Shaler EMS and Ross/West View EMS. Extra units had to be called in due to the heat.
