Structure Fire - Carnegie Borough (10/15/05)
Around 2:20am, Fire units were dispatched to the Red Onion Restaurant on Main Street for a commercial structure fire. By the time the sun came up, half a city block and a lot of the town's history was gone. The fire began in the restaurant which recently reopened after rebuilding from flood damage. Two banks, the restaurant and several shops suffered heavy losses. Many of the businesses were deemed total losses. The fire is under investigation.
