Structure Fire - Tarentum Borough (11/4/05)
At approximately 4pm, Highland Hose Station 280, Eureka Fire-Rescue Station 281, Summit Hose Station 282, and Pioneer Hose Station 112 were dispatched for a confirmed structure fire on Porter Street in East Tarentum. The fire was extingushed within minutes of arrival of the first engine and damage was limited to one room and its contents. No injuries were reported. The last remaining crews cleared the scene about 90 minutes after initial dispatch. No word on the cause of the blaze.
