Residential Structure Fire - Youngwood Borough (3/1/06)

On Wednesday, March 1st at approximately 5pm, Youngwood Fire Department in Westmoreland County, along with mutual aid companies were dispatched to a chimney fire in the 100 block of South 5th Street in Youngwood Borough. 

Upon arrival, units found a working chimney fire that had extended into the residence.  The fire was quickly knocked down and extinguished without further incident. 

Units from Youngwood, Mt. Pleasant, Fort Allen, Southwest Greensburg, Midway/St. Clair responded.  Westmoreland County Hazmat 800 also responded for RIT.
