Structure Fire - Harrison Township (3/13/06)
At 9:45pm, Citizens Hose Station 267, Hilltop Hose Station 268, Harrison Hills
Station 269, and Highland Hose Station 280 Truck were dispatched to a working
fire at the Subway Restaurant in Heights Plaza along Freeport Road. Fires crews
on scene found light smoke coming from outside the building behind the fluorescent
lighted sign. 280 Truck set up and crews were sent to the roof to cut a hole
with the K-12 saw. Minor smoke and some smoldering insulation were found. The
fire was contained to outside the building. Crews were on scene for about 30
minutes. No extension to any other buildings and no injuries were reported.
