Around 4:30 p.m., Arnold station 95-1 and 95-2 were dispatched to 3rd avenue
for a house fire. A few minutes after that Lower Burrell Station 69 was activated
for their RIT Team. At that time it was comfirmed that there was entrapement
and that there was now two buildings on fire. Upon arrival Engine 95-1 was placed
in front of the house and Engine 95-2 was placed in the rear. Two aerials were
used, Snorkel 95 in the front of the house and Truck 56 set up operations in
the rear of the structures. The fire was contained and mostly extinguished within
2 hours.
Companies on scene: Arnold 1 and 2, New Kensington 1 (Truck) and 3, Lower Burrell
1,3 (RIT) and 4, East Deer, Pioneer Hose (Rehab). EMS Stations: Arnold, New Kensington,
and Lower Burrell.
