7-29-2006 Early morning Blaze
Brackenridge, Pa 9th Avenue. A residential structure fire was dispatched by
Harrison to Pioneer Hose Companies 50 and 51. Station 30 Hilltop Hose was also
dispatched. Brackenridge PD car 50 and Chief 50 on scene within minutes reporting
a fully involved structure fire with injuries. Eureka Fire-Rescue-EMS and Sta
11 Highland hose were called in also. The crew were able to get a quick knock
down on the exterior fire but had difficulty finding access to the attic where
the fire eventually vented itself at the highest point. Crews were on scene for
over 3 hours. 1 resident was transported to AVH with injuries and others were
triaged on scene by Eureka Community Ambulance Service. The fire marshal was
called in to determine a cause due to the house going up so quickly. The residence
was a total loss
