Thursday 8/16 @ 0730 Indiana Fire Association (St 100) companies 4 and 1 were dispatched to a trailer fire on Cobblestone Ln in Northview Estates. 100 A1 arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire. Engine 104 and Engine/tanker 102 responded from Central station and Engine 106 and Tanker 108 responded from the West station. Crews from E104 and 102 advance two 1 3/4 attack lines into the trailer and knocked down the bulk of the fire. Man power was sufficient but there was no hydrant close to the area so Creekside (st 260) was activated for T261 (T108 had an extended ETA). Crews performed a little overhaul and Eng 106 was directed to Central station for stand by. The owner was at work when the fire started and PSP is investigating. The American Red Cross also assisted at the scene.
