09.22.06 - On the morning of 9-22-06 shortly after 8 a.m. The City Of New Kensington Fire Depts 56-2 & 56-4 were dispatched to Stevenson Blvd at the entrance to Valley High School for a vehicle accident with entrapment involving a tri- axle dump truck overturned. The New Kensington Police arrived on scene and confirmed that there was no entrapment and that the driver climbed out of the vehicle and was walking around.

The truck apparently lost it's brakes coming down Powers Dr and flipped on it's side against the guard rail dumping a load of mud and slop from the river all over the hillside and the Valley High School Track. The truck also leaked diesel fluid all over the roadway.
