February 4th, 2008 - Lancaster Twp, Butler County, PA -- At 16:31 Harmony Station 23 and Harmony EMS Station 62 was dispatched to a structure fire at 310 Little Creek Road. Chief 23 was first to arrive and updated incoming crews that he had a working fire in the garage and beginning to extend to the first floor. Engine 23-2 was next to arrive, upon arrival crews deployed two 1 3/4 handlines, one to attack the fire in the garage and the other to the front door. Chief 23 then requested Zelienople Station 22 and Evans City Station 20 to assist at the scene. Engine 22-2 was third to arrive and they established the water supply by laying approximately 1000 feet of 4 inch to the scene. Tanker 20 and Engine 20 arrived shortly there after. The bulk of the fire was knocked down within minutes after the arrival of the first crews. While initiating a primary search crews located and removed the homeowner's cat. Crews remained on scene until approximately 20:00 hours. A great job was done by all personnel on the scene.
