Motor Vehicle Accident - Lincoln (02/23/2008)

February 23rd, 2008 - Lincoln, Allegheny County, PA -- Lincoln Station 184, Liberty Rescue 183, Clairton Rescue 123, Lincoln Ambulance 610, and Elizabeth Twp 520 were dispatched to the intersection of Lincoln Blvd at Bellbridge Road in Lincoln for a vehicle on its side with entrapment.

Crews arrived on scene and found the patients self-extricated and were uninjured.  Engine 184 arrived on scene, reported the accident on Bellbridge and cancelled Rescue 123.  The vehicle was going up a icy driveway and slid off the embankment rolling onto its side on the roadway.

Crews from Liberty and Lincoln pushed the vehicle back onto its wheels and a neighbor was able to get the vehicle started and moved off the roadway.

Bellbridge road was closed for a short time while the incident was worked.  All crews cleared after the vehicle was removed from the roadway and debris was cleaned up.
