03/06/2004 - Penn Hills House Fire Funston Street Saturday afternoon, Penn Hills Stations 221, 225, 227, & 222 were dispatched to Funston Street in the Lincoln Park section of town for a reported working structure fire. First arriving units reported a good fire and requested St. 223 for additional manpower. The remaining Companies, St. 224, 226, & 285 were placed on Stand By. Penn Hills PD, EMS, & F1 (Fire Marshal) were also on scene. The fire was under control in a little over an hour. The home was vacant, and is under investigation. Story submitted by Shawn Snyder.
