10/23/04 - Update from Mark St. Clair
Upon arrival McKeesport crews found visible fire from the rooftop and a working
kitchen fire in the China One Restaurant, primarily in the exhaust hood and flue.
The interior fire was quickly knocked down with a combination of activating the
fire protection system in the hood and one handline. The aerial ladder was quickly
set to the roof and the rooftop fire was extinguished with one handline. No fire
extension to the other businesses was reported, however light to medium smoke
conditions were found and removed with a PPV fan.
Thanks to 161 and 299 for their station coverage during the incident.
