Fire
Liberty Way
Liberty station 183, Lincoln Tanker 184, and
Port Vue Engine 237 were dispatched for a fully involved vehicle fire on Liberty
Way in Liberty Borough. Liberty arrived on scene and performed a quick knockdown.
The car was parked off the street in a lot. 183-L2 had command and requested
Eng 237-1 to standby at the hydrant on Liberty Way and had Tanker 184 feed Eng
183-1 and top them off. Electric company was called to inspect a wire that was
directly above the fire. Elizabeth Twp EMS was on scene, along with police car
130 (Liberty), 135 (Port Vue), and 155 (Glassport). The car was towed and all
units cleared.
