01/06/2005 - Lincoln - Mudslide Into a Structure - Fuel Spill

Yough Road

Crews were dispatched to Yough Road in Lincoln Borough for a reported mudslide into a structure with partial collapse and a fuel spill. Arriving crews found that the hillside behind the home along Yough Road had given way due to the extended periods of ran that had fallen. Crews also were faced with a fuel spill from a 250-gallon tank that had been knocked over by the force of the slide. Units on scene included: 184-C1, Engine 183, Engine 147, Engine 142, Rescue 183, Ambulance 610, Allegheny County Hazmat, car 145 and car 130
