The little town of Springdale, Pa along Pittsburgh St, the original Pa. Rt 28, in Allegheny county
is one of the few river towns which still has many of its mainstreet shops occupied by businesses. These businesses include many specialty shops and a bed and breakfast home. This town saw an unfortunate turn of events with a fire in one of those businesses which has apartments above when a fatal fire broke out trapping and killing a 39 year old male occupant. The after action photos show the damage done to the building which has had many different businesses in it including a Photo Lab and has been remodeled several different times.
