11/03/2005 - Lincoln Borough - Head-On Collision

Lincoln Stations 184 and Ambulance 610, Liberty Rescue 183, and Elizabeth Twp EMS 520 were dispatched to Lincoln Boulevard early Thursday morning for a two car motor vehicle accident. First arriving medics arriving on scene reported a head-on collision with heavy damage. The cars collided near Mable Drive and Metal Management. Crews from 183 and 184 disconnected the battery cables and contained a large amount of fluids on the roadway. One driver was transported by ambulance to a local Pittsburgh hospital and the other driver signed a refusal form. Units on scene were Engine 184, Rescue 183, Ambulance 610, a Medic Unit from 520, and Lincoln PD.
