03/03/2006 - Liberty Borough - Vehicle Fire

2800 block Washington Blvd

Late Friday evening, March 3rd, Liberty Borough VFC station 183's Engine & Rescue and Lincoln Borough station 184's tanker were alerted for a vehicle fire near the intersection of Liberty Way and Washington Blvd. Units found the vehicle in the 2800 block of Washington Blvd. Engine 183's crew quickly extinguished the fire.

Units on scene included, Engine 183-1, Rescue 183, Tanker 184, Elizabeth Twp EMS, Liberty Borough PD, and Port Vue PD.

The fire is suspicious in nature and is being investigated by the Allegheny County Fire Marshall.
