Structure Fire
Wallace Road
On Saturday, March 4th at 9:12am, Cherry City Station 260, Bauerstown Station
259, Millvale Station 191 and Undercliff Station 264 were dispatched to a residental
structure fire on Wallace Road in Shaler Township.
Millvale 191 C-1 reported soon after dispatch that heavy smoke was visable from
his residence. 191 C-1 was first on scene and confirmed a good working structure
fire with heavy flames on the first floor and assumed command. 259 Engine 2 was
first on scene and began in inteior attack. Aspinwall Station 102 was then dispatched
for RIT. Fire was placed under control at 9:51am and all units were clear at
11:53am
Evergreen Station 246 was dispatched to standby at Station 259, Mt. Troy Station
239 was placed on standby at Station 191 and both Etna Station 149 and Spring
Garden Station 240 were placed on standby at their stations.
