03/15/2006 - Glassport - Hopper Fire Ohio Avenue Citizen's Hose 161 and Reliance Hose 162 were both dispatched to a hopper fire on Ohio Avenue near Wall Street. The hopper was sitting in a local industrial companies parking lot and was burning throughout the day, but the fire and smoke condition grew to a point where the fire department needed to put it out. Crews on scene worked on getting the hopper opened up to ventilate and reach the fire. Port Vue 237 was later requested to the scene for foam. Report & photos
