03/30/2006 - Etna - Residential Structure Fire

Washington Street

On Thursday, April 30th, just after 3am, Etna Station 149, Cherry City Station 260, Undercliff Station 264, Bauerstown station 259, Millvale Station 194 and Aspinwall Station 102 RIT were dispatched to a fully involved residential structure fire on Washington Street, Etna Boro.

A house obscured from the roadway by trees and on the market for sale at the top of Washington St which turns into Friday Rd in Etna was being investigated By County Fire Marshal Don Brooker (pictured) after signs of the work of an arsonist were present. Etna fire fighters had to return to the scene for a small rekindle on Thursday morning.
