07/18/2006 - Cecil Twp - Brush Fire Southpointe A several day heat wave over the western Pennsylvania area
has kept fire departments busy alll over the area, including in Cecil Twp. PA.
That was where an expensive patch of landscaping at the Stealth Technology buildings
in the Southpoint Business Park caught fire and burnt approximately a 20 foot
patch of landscape. Building employees put together garden hoses in an attempt
to put out the fire which put off a tremendous amount of smoke. The fire may
have been started by a tossed cigarette.
