08/23/2006 - Penn Hills - Structure Fire Aftermath

A fire in a small 4 room house hidden from the street that appears to have been unoccupied and without utilties caught fire Monday evening along Evaline St off Frankstown Road. The firet quickly consumed the structure as firefighters arrived to be only able to surround and drown it.

There was a rekindle Tuesday afternoon as most of the contents fell into the basement and public works crews came in with a back hoe to knock down the remaining chimney. Fire Marshal Jack Mason CFI is Investigating.
