  • McKeesport crews battled another house fire, this time it started around 3am on McCleary Street. [WTAE]

  • For under the lets park our vehicle in a house file, there was a truck into a house in Shaler this morning [WTAE] and last evening crews in Forward Twp dealt with a pickup truck into a house on Airport Road [Hoopie World].

  • Article in the Post-Gazette today regarding dwindling volunteer numbers across Allegheny county, and as we know, it expands across much of the state.  [Post-Gazette]
  • One resident was injured during a house fire in Wilkinsburg Saturday night. [Tribune-Review]
  • Good news in Millvale where they arrested a homeless man who admitted setting a fire to a duplex on Saturday. [Tribune-Review]
  • Donora and the surrounding areas had to deal with an ammonia leak from Airgas Specialty Products in the Donora Industrial Park.  This is the 2nd ammonia leak of the week for western PA. [Tribune-Review]
  • The Laurel Valley Ambulance Service had their GPS stolen out of an ambulance.  Another story that just makes you shake your head. [Tribune-Review]
  • Congratulations to Everson VFD on celebrating their 100th year anniversary. [Daily Courier]
  • On a similar note, the Fayette Firemen’s Convention kicks off in Everson. [Daily Courier]
  • Instigators are back to the scene today in Rostraver trying to determine if a propane tank exploded and caused a fire there on Friday. [WPXI]
