Rescue 300 Rollover Accident

On Monday, April 20th, while responding to a call on Will Court in White Oak, Rainbow Rescue 300 slid off a narrow roadway onto its side. The crew of 4 members were able to get out with minor injuries. The driver refused transport.
White Oak 299 units were on scene first and started extinguishing a shed fire when the Rescue 300 was responding to the scene and slid off the road. At that time operations changed gears to rescue duties to make sure Rescue 300’s crew was ok. Speed does not appear to be a factor and the weather and narrow road were contributing factors.
Per news reports Elizabeth Twp Fire Department have loaned a rescue to Station 300 while Rescue 300 gets repaired.
